Kingston is the capital of Norfolk Island, an Australian island of volcanic origin which lies on the Pacific Ocean. It is the second oldest town in all of Australia, holding great historical value for the island. Once a convict settlement, to this day you can explore the ruins of their stone buildings. The friendly locals welcome visitors and speak their own language, a mix of colonial English and Tahitian. The island is only 35 square kilometres, and over 5 square kilometres are covered by the protected National Park. The official name of the island is actually Inyeug, but to all the budding adventurers it's known as Mystery Island. The Mystery Island's coastline is dominated by crystal clear waters and white sand beaches. Numerous water sports facilities and beautiful natural scenery make the stay at Mystery Island a special experience.
