A man was left with a broken foot after plunging through his rotten garden decking while hanging his washing.
Scott Eaves cracked his foot and smashed his face into the ground during the incident at his home inPenrhyndeudraeth, Wales - all while he was wearing his dressing gown and slippers.
The 48-year-old was forced to spend eight hours in hospital after the fall, which also left him bleeding from his nose and with a 'fat lip', after his attempt to make the most of a sunny spring day backfired on him.
The incident, which was caught on his security camera, initially didn't seem serious with Mr Eaves able to clamber to his feat after the initial shock, but he later found out he had broken his right foot.
Although able to 'have a laugh' about it now, Scott joked that he is a bit 'worried' about hanging up the washing now.
Currently medically unemployed, Mr Eaves said: 'It's a dangerous sport hanging washing out - I'll need a hard hat for hanging washing up now.
'Where I'm hanging it, there are some steps that go up, and there was some rotten decking there which I didn't realise.
'I've got no muscle there in my right leg because of my back issues.
Whilst making the most of the sunny weather, the 48-year-old was hanging his washing to dry in his slippers and gown when the hilarious moment was caught on camera
Despite getting up without seemingly any issue, he later found out he had broken his right foot
Scott Eaves, 48, was left with a nose bleed and a 'fat lip' and had to spend eight hours in hospital after the fall.
'So it just gave way, and I went straight through and headbutted my face on the steps and broke my right foot.
'I was able to have a bit of a laugh about it afterwards, but it was hurting too much at the moment.
'I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the decking, but I'm more worried about hanging washing out - I don't fancy going out there at the moment.'
After the fall, he took himself to hospital after the accident last Thursday, April 10, and was told he had broken his foot.
He added: 'I went to hospital and I spent eight hours there.
'I went for an X-ray, and whilst I was waiting for the results, I had to leave as I couldn't sit down and wait because of my back pain.
'On the way home, the hospital told me it was broken - so I'll go back tomorrow to have the boot fitted.
'My nose wasn't broken as far as I know, but I had a nasty nosebleed and a fat lip.'
He said: ''I was able to have a bit of a laugh about it afterwards, but it was hurting too much at the moment'
Mr Eaves added: 'I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the decking, but I'm more worried about hanging washing out - I don't fancy going out there at the moment'
This is not the first time CCTV caught hilarious moments which some of us might wish it hadn't.
Last year, Laura Staunton's Ring doorbell caught the moment a group of workmen fell over after losing a tug-of-war with a manhole, which was captured on a mother's doorbell camera.
The mother-of-three said the bizarre video made her 'burst out laughing' at work after she received the notification on her phone.
The video begins with one of the men sitting in the drain as the other five get in a line and take hold of the rope in a tug-of-war stance.
The video begins with one of the men sitting in the drain as the other five get in a line and take hold of the rope in a tug-of-war stance.
But after they begin pulling too early, the man in the drain appears to shout, 'Wait a minute, will you wait? - for flip sake the pair of ya'.
There is then a 'one, two, three' count, and the men begin to heave.
The man inside the drain appears to be kicking something down the drain with his foot while they tug.

The moment the rope snapped sent thebumbling workers spinning in all directions
When the rope snapped one of the men was sent flying into the bush - while another landed on his face on the gravel. But all appeared unharmed after the episode
It is not clear what the men were trying to pull out of the drain but it did not move.
After seven seconds of pulling the rope, it snapped under the pressure and the men fell back in a heap.
One of the men was launched back by the sudden force and found himself diving head-first into an evergreen bush.
A metal bar, which was seemingly being used to help grip the rope, narrowly avoided landing on another one of the men's heads after he fell on the floor.
After a few seconds of the workmen looking around at each other stunned, the man on the floor said: 'I thought that was going to smack me in the face'.
The bumbling workers then seem to see the funny side of their failure and begin to laugh loudly.
After watching the video Ms Staunton, a logistics worker, said: 'I was busy at work so ignored the notifications at first but it wouldn't stop chiming so I took a look.
'I burst out laughing and showed my boss andlater when I got home and saw the second guy nearly fall in the bush.
'All of them were laughing about it and no-one was hurt.
'They had put the gravel back in place so without the doorbell footage I would have had no idea anyone had been there.
'I wish I had spoken to them through the Ring.
'They drove past later and still seemed to be laughing.'
